• California Lightworks  SolarStorm 440 is a very powerful LED based grow light that features 144 high flux bin OSRAM SSL emitters and dual UV-B Fluorescent T8 fixtures. Durable coated metal cabinet with dual aluminum heat sinks and cooling fans. 
• Sunlight naturally provides large amounts of UV-B light which is essential for developing stronger healthier higher potency plants, and which HID and LED lights do not deliver in significant levels. The SolarStorm 440 employs supplemental UV-B light via dual T8 fluorescent UV-B bulbs that are integrated into the fixture and have a separate control.
  The UVB bulbs are typically turned on during the final few weeks or “finishing” phase of the grow cycle to boost potency but may be used during the full cycle.
• The SolarStorm 440 is designed to replace a 600W HPS or Metal Halide system while producing far less heat and using 40% less electricity.
• One Solarstorm 440 consumes around 235 watts in veg mode, 320 watts in Bloom mode, and 350 watts using the UV-B and bloom together. 
• The system is designed for best results covering an area of 3′ x 3′ during Bloom and up to 6′ x 6′ during Veg.and It's great for medium size or home grow operations.
