MIXJOY 1000 Watt Double Ended Grow Light Fixture (Factory Sealed) The best we can tell, these were produced when the COVID pandemic kicked in and bulbs were hard to get so the packaging was changed and these were released as just the fixtures. VERY hard to find now, these fixtures have had great reviews and the price is fantastic. Comparable fixtures typically start at $200 or more. When they're gone, they're gone... Biggest bang for your buck in PAR output and the area it covers is awesome

I'd say it was well worth it in its output over single ended HPS and the area coverage size completely blows all LED away. Completely silent as well. Its dimmable as well and the feature DOES WORK. Its not instantaneous, it gradually drops the wattage. I tested it with a wattage meter and LUX meter for brightness. Unless you test it with a LUX meter and wattage , this thing is so bright and takes about 3 minutes or so to fully adjust its wattage, you won't realise it even dimmed with the naked eye. BUT IT DOES WORK. Thought I'd note that since i saw someone who didn't understand how it worked claiming its dimming feature was bogus. A couple other things to note as well. One is that it's quite hot and I am doubtful this is suitable for any shorter height tent application. I keep it 24" above plants in a good size bedroom with fans since it throws a decent amount of heat downwards. As plants get taller you start to need more headroom and raise the light to keep the distance with the canopy and heat, take that into account. Another thing is Amazon shipped it in its actual box which displays what it is pretty clearly and I was not prepared. Request Amazon Gift Packaging (or whatever it's called) at checkout if you need it concealed for privacy. 5 STARS

So far this lamp performs as it should. Haven’t gotten around to measuring PAR lighting but what I can see in terms of plant growth this seems to be where it needs to be.

Advice for those who complain about bulbs/ballast burning out prematurely : make sure your bulbs are installed properly. As opposed to screw in bulbs the connection strands need to be FULLY INSERTED between the contacts of the lamp or you will have an unstable connection which leads to premature failure.

Best light for the money

What a great grow light especially if you need the heat. I grow in my basement that is 60 degrees and this light raised the temp up to 80 degrees so an extra 20 degrees running at 1000w.

It has an excellent footprint of 5x5 easy and the light has great penetration, much better then LED as far as I'm concerned.

You would need a high quality LED to be able to beat this light.
